Exacta It
It is incredibly hard to see anything beating the in-form filly Sweet Ora. She should get the run of the race from barrier 2 and with W.Pike in the saddle looks on paper as though she will go mighty close to making it 5 wins from 7 starts and extend her bank balance beyond $150 000. In my view there is only one genuine danger to her and that is Our Time Will Come who has electric gate speed and will free wheel into the straight two or three lengths clear. As long as Pike doesn't get caught in traffic I am confident that Sweet Ora will run over the top of him and they will run the 1-2 exacta. Trevor Andrew's debutant Jefferson has trialled well enough to suggest he can run a race on debut from barrier 1. Should get a soft tow into the race behind Our Time Will Come. Red Noire back to 1000m and down to 51kg could be an improver. Both the Simon Miller geldings Swedish Memories and Guest Express have shown ability as two year olds, however, both trials were only average. Pretty keen on Sweet Ora and saving on Our Time Will Come.

That winner showed some speed. Thinking Jefferson will more than pay his way, especially if they get the right jock on.
