Britbrat, more than happy to leave your latest post up as it says more about you than it does Matt & I. Nevertheless , would be great to find out who you really are!!

Goldburg = Toodyay
-
This is unfortunately what happens to people employed in a passionate industry when those in control of it share none of that passion, making the sport what it is today in this State....irrelevant.
-
Rio the cross looked ok.. the sire has a good strike rate & a reasonable service fee. THe mare produces sprinters mainly but to answer your question no in depth analysis really !!!!
-
Trade Fair died at birth then the mare missed last year... in foal to Trade Fair again now & due any day now, then back to Blackfriars.... I like Metal Storm mares too with a good dam line.
-
Rio Damn shame that McFlirt could never race.... was so flexible it kept striking it's own front shoulder when galloping,,, big strong horse too. Looks like we're going back to Blackfriars this year!!

How about replacing midweek no metro win $22,500 races upcoming with $15,000 maidens for some upcoming midweek metro meetings, on top of the reduction to 7 race cards.

That was 26 years ago Diva....... !!!
-
Races at Broome 10 years ago had Class B races with $6,500 stakes, maidens at $7,500 & class 4 races at $12,500.

Really charger??? Pls enlighten me as to these differences??

I'm talking off course turnover, where the majority of turnover has gone... Still ends up with Rwwa all the racing bets levy on local product.
-
And of course we all know where this turnover has gone.... To the corporates or other tabs .. Who pay product fee of at least 1% of turnover which goes back to rwwa's coffers via dept racing , gaming & liquor. What Rwwa do with all these product…

Just went back to a random Ascot midweek meeting on 21 Nov 2007 (thanks to CRIS) ...................9 races with $20,000 stakes each race..lowest rated race was 0 to 71. Average number of starters per race 13.1 if you exclude emergencies. Where did…

Flying Grau raced to aged 10..........was so much as a stable favourite they named another one Flying Roar............
-
so that said Tivers, who is making a profit out of this industry - not the trainers, not the majority of owners, not the race clubs, not RWWA it seems..................??? What is the solution ??
-
Fixed odds.... Pools mean nothing falcon
-
RWWA , wearing two hats, are showing way too much focus on their wagering business, instead of administrating & improving local product. As I've said before , without this conflict they would be able to concentrate on the growth of the racing in…

Oh Sari Twig.............what a marvel... one of my favourites.

Not in the last 20 years but norms delight I think won as a 12 or 13 year old in the early 90's.

With the three bookies that worked at Gero yesterday any on-course flucs would be completely meaningless & not representative of any true market. Different kettle of fish to a metropolitan Saturday meeting in Perth where there is still a bit of …

Correct me If I'm wrong but I dont even think Bob's broodies even reside in WA ????? So they are hardly transported there to be served, except when they first finish racing..................... Just because its WA owned doesn't mean it has much at…

Bob's four runners in the cup are all by eastern states based sires (as you all know)..........combined Westspeed earnings for these horses $265,000. Somehow doesn't seem right to me when you're already winning every black type race on the State's r…

Had a punt on course with Punta today. If they smiled once I will walk to Bunbury tomorrow. Odds are generally better than the other bookies but **** me if you don't want my money just say so You'll need an umbrella............................... :-…

@georgecantstandya if you can show me on race day with final field they are betting 100% in the first 5 horses in betting, well I will agree with you. But both you & I know that wont happen. So if the first 5 in betting start considerably shor…
