will pike open with an early double or will r hill stop him in the 1st?
no trial 1st up over the 1200m with 59kg for traded halo who looks the class horse, but one would think this will just be a trial..however the small field is in his favour..

takanori just wins the 2nd, best on the program.

el costa mar is a 1000m specialist and will be there abouts at e/w odds in the 1st leg of the quoddie.

biter emu returns from a short letup with plenty of form around louisiana lady, they must be keen for a win this prep and it will be well deserved if they land it today.

Well done with Raising Dubai Wilson. I also had to laugh at the quick witted Richard Bell. As I listened on the radio I heard the starting siren go DING and I thought "Cripes Richard the race has started" A couple of seconds later he came on saying "That bell has gone off a little early, but this one hasn't" Pure gold Richie =))

can only beat what they dish up...but yes agree with that.
also ran a second faster than the 3yos.

was that Turner trying to service half the field and then knock the other half over???

Would need to see the head on Rio. My initial thoughts were Paps drifting in causing the tightening.

Couldn't be my mate Jagsy anyway, he's about the safest rider in Australia!

    he's throwing down a protest..
he did seem to have an opening at the 150m, but though he chose not to take it, then it closed up..
will see what the stewards rekon..

just saw it...still not sure, but broker was fading a bit, but TT's mount seemed to go off..Good one for the stewards, but i think mr TT may not be in as bad as initially looked from side on

Actually I will drop Oviate, here's a horse who loves to place but hasn't won a non-trial since 2010.

yep as i thought..so does broker get a week for drifting in an TT gets a month for knocking over 2 or 3 runners in his attempt to control the reaction of his mount!!!!!..Only joking, but it did bump a few on the way to the line

Chui 6 winners this week and 5 at over double figure odds. Great effort Marco =D>

A friend went down and had $10 straight out on Marco in the last two races. Got $600 in his kick now with the last to come.

It can pay to follow a jock in form.

Good to see Faithfull learnt her lesson well. Does a right hand turn again
  • Great day with friends, loved every minute of the day. Spent my time at the trainers bar, got a few owners signed up for Harvey (waroa). Missed a ŵinner as my mobile wouldn't connect for the final (confirm ticket ) request with Sportingbet. :-L
    Terrific day at the races.

that'll teach you not to bet local big col? or couldnt you be dragged away from the bar? =))
  • Cost me big time Mathew. Went to the Eftpos machine straight after. Told Wes my tale of woe. He just laughed like everyone else. Where's the sympathy ?

Eyes Don't Lie - no they certainly don't, massive run to hold on for fourth. Would have won with an ounce of luck.

I think he's record would be pretty good, don't recall him going too often.

Any idea if Faithfull got time again or did they just ask her to retire?
