Looks an interesting week with some games bit tight in the markets!

Bombers have firmed big time against the Dockers.

Melbourne vs GWS could go either way - but think Melbourne should have the wood on GWS, but GWS were good last week against Richmond. But they have a tendency not to back up, so picking the Demons.

Remember, don't bet on ordinary teams expecting them to perform!
    I'm on Pies <39.5, Freo & Ess <15.5, Swans 15.5+, Crows 15.5+ which multis out at $27.79

Probably wouldn't be backing on that game, watch on only!

Last week was easy, but this week reckon there could be some good games.

Collingwood probably should beat the Eagles.
    Bombers should beat Dockers.
Swans should beat the Cats at SCG (but that isn't a given)
    Crows easy
    Bulldogs easy
Melbourne/GWS could either way, but think Melbourne have played well last couple, and in Melbourne.

    :D :D
Took all the great advice on board and skipped tonight's game because gut wanted to go Geelong.
Instead went Adelaide by 19.5 against Roos at Etihad.
    :D 8) 8)

Should have stuck with your own judgement...
Although the line fell in by 1.5 and never looked likely for 3 quarters....
  • two weeks in a row now i've started a multi on fri night with the either team under 15.5 bet
with the hardest leg out the way its all smooth sailing from here....
pies, ess with a 20.5 start, bulldogs with a 24.5 start, melb to win and north melb with a 39.5 start

Not sure if there will be another hash, but Melbourne are no certs! Can't have the Kangas, Dockers could beat Essendon, but I'd be surprised if they did.

Great game - shame Eagles couldn't snatch it, but they put up a good show!

One thing I learnt from that game is I'm now not worried about playing the pies at the G come September 8)

Collingwood were coming off the bye.
  • and they fell in....
does that mean blues v hawks will be a draw next week lol
in all seriousness though, going off the bye theory both GC and Port can expect to meet two teams in west coast and geelong that will be absolutley stinging, both coming off very close losses, can lock in those two to win by big margins!
  • oh and you can add your richmond cubs to that list aswell, they face the crows back in AAMI

    Yep
We will get flogged next week

GWS/Melbourne total game score under 171.5 looks a good bet today.

Both teams total averages is a combined 120 approx - gives you around 8 goals margin.

Can't see either team belting the other, which may give us a low scoring affair!
  • tab sportsbet big bets - $15,000 Multi @ $4.28 Under 44.5 Pts in the storm/bulldogs nrl, Under 46.5 Pts roosters/manly, Under 185.5 Pts dees/giants & Under 220.5 Pts in the nth/adel game and $23,000 @ $1.55 on @GWS_Giants +34.5

The 171.5 line is take your pick - the 185 is $1.40

Sportsbet also have a market on total points and the under 150 is the favoured option (good sign)
  • total match score in the manly game is at 46 now still with 15 mins to go.... nervous times ahead...

Jeez a lot of weagle fans conveniently forgetting arguably the best player in the comp wasn't out there for pies ... Tarrant vitally important to back six set up too. Contrary to popular belief, Pies got more injury upside than WCE IMO

Pies mids got a stack of the ball and dont no if they could have played any better to be frank Swan ,Beams and Sidebum were all very good to me they got beat in other areas ,Tarrant is no saviour hasnt been right 18 months now he wont be the differance between winning a flag and losing a flag

Disagree, Pendlebury a gun, correct, but other than that only Tarrant and Didak were missing. I'd be happy playing them again with Kennedy, Embley and Butler back and Schofield in for Mitch Brown, who was woeful. Haven't mentioned Adam Selwood or Nicoski as I don't know if they would get back into our best 22 at the moment.
