To be fair Carey, even the best "computers" on their own don't stand up if the public odds aren't incorporated into them....
-
Cool got you -thought you were saying the opposite :)>- They are my interpretations exactly.
-
I missed this on the day Carey - whats your summary on R1, 7 ad 8 re pace?
-
Absolutely gobsmacked it led.
-
you're worried about a 40/1 chance in a 1600 metre midweek race that leads and runs 4th with blinkers off after being 4th and fading over 1400 last start ?????? plz - pick something worthwhile. No - he's worried about change of tactics not being n…

Where I examine things, Smith had the worse F(x) by miles, lower than 4kg apprentices Presumably you use the public odds for this though? The problem with that is they have the public's perceived riding ability built in to the odds, you need a vari…

Loose_goose - I dont think you read my post properly. What venue it was, and how far they were out by is irrelevant. I wish you well with your punting if you are happy to accept mediocrity.
-
Doh! Didn't realise their were 2 of you...
-
Rodent you seem to have far too much spare time. I wouldn't be losing too much sleep don't think there is many wins in the future off a stuff up in margins for also rans Goose - how about we put it like this: The margins at Mt. Barker were nothin…

What a classic. Competent trainer confuses bag of drenching gear with bag of hay. Yeah, and my horse went moooo! 8-} Competent trainer thought he filled a bag with hay but turns out he didn't? The bloke should get life for being a filthy lying ****
-
Rio - the problem is, these incidents happend time after time after time after time.... you get the picture Rodent has been banging on about photo finish fiascos for years, Carey has been banging on about times being wrong for years, and sweet ****…

altern8vu - in the case of the jockey switch, the punter investing his / her money couldn't care less if anyone gets paid, its going to do absolutely ZERO to resolve the issue.
-
Will certainly be the forums loss if you do go. If you do need something to fill in your spare time you can always look at those pars i PM'd you about a while ago ;)

well, i am starting to think i talk too much. It depends on what it is you are talking about =)) When it comes to this sort of stuff, you don't talk enough!
-
You've done work for some of then though haven't you?
-
who do you think is responsible for the majority of that late money? it is pyrmont. what is in pyrmont i will let you figure out for yourself. How long has this been the case? I'm sure your guys have some say in the final odds, but surely Z up …

Rac - to be fair, what Carey does (did?) has nothing to do with being able to pick winners, and everything to do in being able to price the odds of each runner.
-
Andrew - do you post on here and other forums under a different name too, say the name of a horse trained but the cups kings?

I heard the news and then watched the replay after. Two of the highest profile Jockey's / Trainers's over there as well. 1000000/1 of anything happening in WA. Would be along the lines of "Stewards questioned (insert jockey) in regards to his handl…

I dont believe Lucas would have put Lopov on the chopping board on purpose. He is a very good friend of the owner and while he may have been told to let Lopov roll forward (which would also benefit Lopov), I dont think he would have been given instr…

He had a chance early in the race to keep 1 off and got muscled out of it, then had a chance to come off 600 out and didnt, then tried to levitate over them at the 250. Had as many chances as he liked.

Slaughter of epic proportions there from Pike.

Who else would you expect to have the fastest sectional time :-h

Was there last year Funk - absolutely sensational. Hospitality is second to none over there.
-
the reasons for Smith and Forrest falling were pretty clear - not sure that needs an Inquiry You don't think there should be an inquiry as to why Jockeys G. Smith and S. Parnham and Apprentice R. Forrest fell over a fallen horse? Thank goodness Pe…

From the few things I've read on here with you involved Wilson, am I right in saying your son trains Travinator? I would be ashamed, actually i'd be filthy if my old man was on a horse racing forum carrying on like you giving me a bad name.
-
Boss put in a shocker on Travinator IMO, it was still a very good run. Barakey on the other hand was simply herculean. I just cant see how Travinator will ever beat Barakey though, it would have to be a 1000m race and he sure as hell wouldn't be be…
