funny how breeding works. my old man is training one out of a mare who is a 3/4 sister to asian incline. she was a handy race horse and has been to the best stallions and has bred rubbish which have had things all wrong with them. she was sent to re…

I'm just guessing the pontiff must be sore or injured. it was only weeks ago where he was lifting horses over the line with some real vigorous riding.
-
Esperance boxing day is in my top 5 favourite race days meetings for the year.
-
I hope he hasn't had a foot absus...

I agree with you PB. Ike is pretty harsh on horses mouths sometimes and if she feels the steel too hard to early she will spit the chewy.
-
hay funkster, before you put it on your sao crackers, test it out on your missus. you wouldn't want to waste one cracker if you didn't like it!
-
I agree with Linc, promite is the best spread on earth. put it on sao's, vitawheats, toast, your finger, on your missus, anything really.

I thought the $20.00 breakfast ticket for members guests was a bit long in the tooth and the most dissapointing part was seeing all the track riders and stable hands getting handed free tickets on the top level. It made alot of the members very disg…

I am really suprised David Hayes doesn't have a runner this year...

Sniper's Bullet worked the best out of every horse down at the track this morning. shame he drew 15...
-
I agree...slightly dissapointing field. the way sniper's bullet worked this morning i think he is a huge chance of winning despite the bad barrier and weight.
-
Nah i didn't see it Della. It will be interesting to see what unfolds out of all this.

One thing also must be taken into consideration is that the horses stud career is on the line too because not many people would want to breed to a bleeder after his racing career. I really hope an indepth inquiry is conducted.
-
I reckon Famous Roman will run in the Railway. Is it possible to request the opinion of another vet? There is no way a horse can show a turn of foot like that and finish a race off. Bleeders normally hit the wall halfway up the straight and get the…

I Saw a gem ride by Kevin Forrestor at the Gold Coast on the weekend. That bloke's been everywhere!
-
This horse is probably my all time favourite on the punt now. The odds were so rediculously high. I've followed him from maiden status to group 1. One must ask the question, where to now?
-
Jean ran a nice little trial the other day and goes well fresh.
-
The pilot change on colour correct could make the difference. Paul Harvey is making every jockey in WA look second rate at the moment.
-
tivers when will we see Kasabian next? was in my opinion the best horse in WA besides scenic blast. Where is scenic shot by the way?

Golden Heart - good baba
-
I had a cheeky place bet on golden heart and just missed :x . I thought the hot tempo up front would suit him coming home. Nice patient ride by Clint Harvey in death seat in the straight. Every apprentice should watch the replay of what he did.

It's not often you see a horse dropping weight from it's previous last 2 starts into a WFA - Grand Nirvana.
-
Is it just me or do all of Harrison's horses get really fired up in the yard?
-
Harrison stable have been punting big as of late slip.
-
I hear mark reed is donating the winners cheque to the royal flying doctor service if Gondorff wins today.
-
Nearlly got the cash. $5.60 not a bad place divvy!
-
I am a little wary of the piolet you have on board shanghai. when he's hot he's hot but when he's cold...deary me.
-
Idylic Prince, spitfire ace, vain raider, Dante's Volonte in that order.
-
Your right Linc, as long as you back them when they win, who cares where they race!
-
Correct Shanghai, But I rightfully remember alot of arm chair critics bagging the hell out of Hay List going east. Famous Roman finished within an arms reach in the Sir Rupurt Clark Stakes.
