dropped 3.5kg and an ideal barrier...gets to the front easy and kicks away...i wasn't on but am not surprised..In fact the only thing that surprises me is the low divvy

That is rubbish i have been punting 20 years they never turn their sectionals around like that i dont care how easy the lead let alone bash their brains in like that going along at that speed into a seabreeze and keep running come on wake up.

nup i'll stick with my opinion..he used the good barrier to maximum effect and ran them ragged with his normal pace out of the gate...then walked over the line....its times like this i'd like 200m sectionals....everyone was off the bit holding on....good ride by the boy, to rate him to the line 1 second slower over last 600 than 2nd and 3rd horses....most times he gets a good barrier he grows a leg

Mailman if you have access to RWWA's Cris site you need to do your form better and older horses take a few runs to find form he was down in weight and class and young Jake only had to steer it .
And I did not back it as I'm not betting but looking at the fields this morning I gave it a chance.

Usually for Ascot you need to find some horse that will lob in front, slow them down to a walk, and then pick it up and win from there. Find horses that lobs in the first four.

They don't call it thoroughbreds, they call it Monte (a form of harness racing) because they find the front and lead from barrier to box.

Spudley well i see what u are saying i dont agree sorry small weight changes dont make changes like that fitness maybe because it was off 21 days before but even so thats a long bow i=u see one like that once ever 100 if that. They just dont turn their sectionals  around like that. Its made a massive 7 to 10 length leap today from last run even if u allow for a few lengths for what u are saying. It has found extra energy today under more pressure into a breeze they just dont do it sorry.

Parnham certainly has the magic touch at producing long priced sharp improvement winners.

Funny thing being that he is as far from dodgy as it gets in Perth. Whatever his systems are, it just happens with his sometimes

I think he has so many horses in training that he does not know whats going on.

Some of the other owners will be very disappointed with their horses not being able to make any ground up Proceed With Caution , Petrol Power and Cougar nights were terrible try and forget the race.

Petrol Power is going to the paddock for an extended time. I would completely dismiss the run and we would hope he returns to his former self upon his return.

What's the difference between right honourables last two runs?
There is one very major difference!
Last start Parnham fought against him. Casey was always going to let him stride, which suits this horse much better and with the light weight and no other leader HAD to be considered a chance.

RBTL - Divas saying the boys' poor riding is a factor in Parnham form reversals :))

The Diva is on the money. Read between the lines. Casey on = going forward.

On the contrary darkshines. Kids tend to let horses run in my opinion. The seniors tend to want to fight them and get them to settle. In this case the apprentice rode well and the senior erred the start prior.

Nah - thats exactly what i meant. 'Boys' as in the older brothers

By my reckoning that makes you 27 or 28 years old?

    Pretty simple conclusion.

Ordinary race, with ordinary horses, back the best claiming apprentice..... Jake Casey.
