Gets into a C4 only race today on the "claiming clause"....so here we have a horse with over $550k in the bank, a fast class winner, a venerable war horse and is he thrown in today or what? PBD means he starts out wide, not the widest since LAB out of draw. What price will he go around at? Regardless, the winner is the horses connections for placing him in suitable race....yet again.

    You could always claim him and have him go around for you in the same race next week

    Not a criticism of him, rather a green flag for good use of the system.I think (not sure) he faces compulsory retirement soon.

    Yes, smart use of the system.
    On another note, I hope after earning $550k for various connections over the years he finds himself in a nice green paddock to live out his retirement? He is testament to the toughness and resilience of the standardbred.
