    i heard at the track that shane edwards was caught giving guest wing something when in the float by one the security personnel...don't know if this was true, but it won accordingly..

    Find it hard to get motivated towards Cup with it at 2400m

    Mate, the way the race panned out Rich Success would of run in the first 4. Ordinary time and they a only averaged just under 37 secs for the last 600m. Once he was scratched all the top? hoops didn't know what to do. Everyone was trying to take a sit at snails pace. Just shows that there are very few true stayers in WA. Just walk and sprint horses. Makes them look better than they really are

    they did state what both substances were. They are not prohibited and hence a fine only.
    Maybe you should read the stewards report instead of inventing some conspiracy theory dick.

    The fine was a result of a report from a security guard placed on Guest Wing, which established an employee orally administered Gastrozol (anti-ulcer treatment) and Lubrysin (joint lubricant) to Guest Wing at 8am today.

    The fine is because "no person without prior permission of the Stewards may administer any medication to a horse on race day prior to such horse running in a race".

    Just seems to prove the rating system is not working. No matter what rating the horse is, the best horse (and ride) on the day won. Some of those higher rated horses probably don't deserve their rating. Heres one for you. Horse rated at 78-80. Starts on Saturday metro in 80+ race and carries 53kg (min). Starts in 68-80 and carries 58-59kg. From bottom weight to top weight and in many cases racing against the same horses!
