I had a whinge when Star Buck knocked me out of the quaddy last start after sitting 3 deep the trip and was told that my form assessment was in error. Today it was 3rd the fence and ran like a busted rrrs.

you are joking of course, what happened last time happened last time. it does not mean it happens again this time. if it worked like that, it would be oh so simple, so i would not expect somebody that says he lives off it to come up with that sort of nonsense.

Well what price did you have it today? After all, I was surprised by its performance last start whereas you weren't. Today maybe you were surprised and I wasn't?
You are f###ing kidding me. The attendant has hit the false start button after a fair start and the jockeys all pulled up their mounts. I have never heard of that before, that's a disgrace. Surely that can't happen. I hope the attendant isn't allowed to bet :shock:

i didn't have it at any price, as i am not interested in the meeting. i didn't think it would necessarily win last time either, i just knew it was over the odds. if it was overs or not today i have no idea

I would've thought there'd be a protective cover over the false start button to prevent such an accidental push. Loss of turnover=shooting yourself in the foot not to mention the poor people who travelled to race a horse in that event. Not good enough.

Could be wrong but Albany and Mt Barker are the only place the starter seems to start them up on the barriers these days. So if started out front on ladder, is the False Start button with the starter or attached to the actual barriers?

In R5 Radio Pleasure has 4 wins 2 thirds a 4th and 5th from 8 Mt Barker starts. One for the novelties.
