  • Dont need Impaja - Foxtel replay them all and if you have IQ can record and watch at your leisure

was only 7 games this weekend - watched 3 live - the others on replay and yes I had a very quiet weekend - normally would watch one or two games Monday and possibly another Tuesday

Carlton v essendon was a cracker game

haha, most draws are, I suppose you will have us believe you watched it on IMPIANA or whatever that station is called?

So you watched nearly 24 hours of football over the weekend? you need to get a life if that is true.
I watched it live, on OneHD
In Sydney - where you get better coverage than in the football state of WA !!! :x

lol - love how you give Fyfe 3 votes

Pav was clearly the best this time around

    Fyfe maybe a 2 or 1 tho - played a ripper game

32 posessions and 2 goals v 34 posessions and 0 goals AND was wearing strapping around his head - which will get the umps attention :P
Was lucky that Ballantyne missed a few goals.
Still paying $126 to win and may have about 7 votes already

I reckon everyone on here would agree?

The article says Priddis was ordinary in 2010, pretty harsh marking for a bloke who had just about zero support in terms of contested possessions - had someone hanging off him just about every week.

  • Think its a disgrace that betting agency have Pavlich listed in the betting when he is facing a striking charge

We should have another rising star this week...

WA had one last week - shame its gonna be a Vict this week
I hope your not talking about Pitt?
no I was talking about Jasper Pittard - unlike some people I actually watch all the games and make an unbiased opinion on things
I reckon I know a fair bit more about JMP than you, didn't see the game, but statistically Darling had a better game and was playing a HF role which is much tougher than a running back receiver role.

Darling has had a much better month of football which is always taken into account in this process and the only thing I can see going for Pittard is that Port won and we didn't which may carry some weight.

See all the games on the weekend did you? I doubt it. Hope you caught the SUNS replay, they are improving...not.
Why would you no more about JMP are you in the inner circle or just like to think you are or just read a lot of websites

he has been charged with striking level 2 - if he accepts it with an early plea it goes to reprimand but still cant win the brownlow

no I was talking about Jasper Pittard, more importantly he contributed to a winning team and his opponent only had 12 touches - unlike some people I actually watch all the games and make an unbiased opinion on things

PS - wont surprise me if Darling gets in but I thought Pittard was better, the guy playing on Darling had 30 possessions

    Good call Della

I thought he can contest and still not miss, as loses the 25% discount for an early guilty plea but still keeps the 25% discount for his good record over last 5 years?

He has an existing five-year good record, which reduces the sanction by 25 per cent to a reprimand and 93.75 points towards his future record. An early plea reduces the sanction by 25 per cent to a reprimand and 70.31 points towards his future record.

Daws should get off. That was just clumsy, not reckless or careless and also pretty soft contact.
Pav imo will be lucky to get off on that one. Should've just taken the early plea
  • it did surprise me when I heard they were challenging it - makes sense now

    thats Funkster

So you went onto Fan Footy and read the icon besides the players names?

What you failed to mention was that Jaensch was only Pittards opponent for about 2 1/2 qtrs before moving down back, you also 'forgot' to mention he kicked a goal.

So those stats you provided us were not indicative of the truth, and I think everyone knows that raw stats are often misleading. Also, anybody who has actually played the game knows how much harder it is playing as a forward than a back, especially in the era of zones.
  • lol - even when you are wrong - you still think you are right :P

PS - Birchall kicked a goal too and he was playing in the backline

Nope, good on Pittard, as I said I didn't see the game so obviously he did deserve it, but I did see Darling and he was very impressive, and has been all year, especially when he ran down Pittard in Rd 2 and drove him into the ground.

But if you are going to argue a point, don't manipulate the facts because I find it hard to believe your omissions were simply an oversight.

When I said that Darling had a better game statistically speaking that was because he had a higher SC score which is based on champion data and takes into account impact on a game, and again that is not a true reflection, but would be the best pointer available.

It is also fair to say that there have been some strange nominations in the past for various reasons, not saying this is one of them, but there are a number of things that are obviously taken into account, many of which the public is unaware of and are not a direct reflection of the performance in which the player receives said nomination.
  • manipulate the facts - lol

you want me to detail everything within the entire game? - was just an overview on how I saw things

I am not gonna argue SC points and the like but it makes no account for what the opposition player did during the game

Was just my opinion that Pittard would get the Rising Star and amazingly I got one right - cmon gimme some credit :P

PS - I really like Darling and have him in my Dream Team so hope he gets the nomination that he will without a doubt deserve soon
