So many good young players coming through this year

    I put $100 on Shuey at start of year @ 8s.

    In the last 10 years or so the winner has been nominated in the first 6 weeks, or something along those lines.

    I also backed Shuey at 6.75 on AIS is still a massive chance Occy he and Darling are both well above average

    swallows last 1/4 was more damaging and influencial then anything conca did, but metera will get nominated was the difference in the result

    No team yet to win coming off the bye (other than by default - ie both teams had the bye).

    There is a reason no team is yet to win coming off a bye

    One was Gold Coast (hardly counts)

    the other 3 played Freo :P

    90% of teams coming off the bye will be winning now
