The one I like today has forgotten what the inside running rail looks like. Last two starts has covered more ground than Liz Hurley visiting Warnie..more ground than Santa will cover delivering presents to the kiddies. (Big build up here hopefully with a result to match) Race 6 Mirrannon Another wide gate doesn't help but hopefully better luck this time.

    Bit off topic...

Just want to say how much i enjoy wa racing. Im in sydney and ive almost lost complete interest in local racing. Track bias and boring style racing...generally if you arent in the first few you have no hope. Not always but you get the drift. Its just mundane.

I dont mind betting on weaker class horses for that reason. And i kinda like watching races at 6- 9pm...very catharctic.

    End rant/

Back to the racetrack and though the first appears on paper to be a race in two Speaking Terms should be running on strongly fresh and may upset the favs.

If you follow Gumby's numbers then note that his tip in race 2 Madam Jewel is number 9 not 8 as listed

Yep. Ive even lost interest in going to the track. Id never usually miss a wfarm meet but i couldnt care less now. Staying races??....waller will have four in it. Take your pick. Bor- ing.

I will venture to WA....might do it pretty soon. Got a mate who loves the racing over there too...might have to team up and jet over.

    Anyway...back To bunbury...

I think ive found a nice eway smokey 1st up at a price.

R7 GIANTS ISLAND. It wants further than 1400m but its two previous campaign 1st up runs have come at this track and distance. Both times it finished 4th carrying a little more than the 55.5kg it has today with the claim for s.starley. Now...

Can s.starley sit on " ok" for a 4 kg kid?

How can it be win only after a late scratching? Shouldn't it be pay 1 and 2 only? TAB is cheating.

P Knuckey WTF 4 horse field goes back to last 2 L behind the 2nd last horse was always going to turn into a sprint home and he stood them 4-5 L didnt have to be to smart to work out being back there you had no chance great ride by both Smith and Pike at least they showed some thinking being on the pace !!!!
  • PunterPunter    947 posts
Was always going to be a sprint home. Small fields usually are. Tactical race. Must of been ridden to instructions are surely someone like Knuckles must of known this was always going to play out the way it did.

    hmm terrible race 6.

Shot of Glory at odds here, hopefully it can not "commence awkwardly" as it seems to all the time, and settle, and not get buffeted. Jus a cozy run would be nice....
