Westriver Kevydonn. Weight shouldn't be a problem when you take into account the size of him and has drawn well :D

Reckon Liquidation has seen more of Australia than most of us mere mortals.

Full fields for Barker tomorrow and good fields too. Not so full in Perth today which isn't so good.

Beer will be cold, skirts will be short and the punting hard (like most).

The Sprint - If they can get Collayshell to load & then jump ok, it could be one for the novelties.

Crosswise just failed to win (2nd) this race last year when at very long odds ... wouldn't surprise to see him play a part again.

The town horses DO look the ones to beat. Can they travel down in the heat and take home the Mungrup Sprint ? ... do have my doubts.

Could be hot down there today, not sure if to make the trip or not.

Cannot see a local winning the Sprint, but a race in two I thought WRKD and Breaker.

    Dark Future in the last
A Quiet Shandy big improver in the third

Wow...what a shocking feeling that was---I was on liquidation for a motza and felt it was second despite the caller going for it---liquidation indeed

HTF can the outside win when the horses are so close together? I'm still trying to get my head around it.

I feel like taking a trip to Mt Barker to get my head around the angle. It's diabolical.

told you a 'local' would win. Can you see what I mean by that other horse not quite being there ?

Had a share in the quartet either way, thought Liquidation had put it's head down on the line!

Liquidation would have been a much better result for me!

    a local horse?
  • DamienWyerDamienWyer    7,985 posts
Well I didn't think one of the Perth based horses would win. Mt Barker seems to be kinder to horses that haven't travelled in these big sprints. Capel is 'local' isn't it ? LOL
