On class though it should be between Buffering and Sea Siren , I think it could be a repeat of the Takeover Target-Apache Cat spine-tingler.
maybe another heading toward it
Trial this time in didn't look that flash either
What am i missing this horse this horse is now a superstar 100 rater after his next run hcps are all but gone so why not try and win the extra $$$ for his owners and i understand JT has a good understanding of the system but whats the point.
His next start Reeves then The Winterbottom if he wins them both points are a thing of the past he will be in the high 110s surley and WFA beckons but will be carrying some good weights in the Autumn against a little mare called Black Caviar :-h
time they threw him in the deep end, and you are correct dungy....if he wins the winterbottom he will cop it anyway.
and if the winterbottom is the target then there is no point protecting his rating in the first place, as it won't matter one iota what its rating is pre winterbottom
and i think he is good enough, although i have never heard of 'sea siren'.
of course i know of your black caviars and pierro's but that is about it.
Two very different sides of the ledger.
Usually, said up and comers show themselves to be mediocre once the heat goes on...
Even more frustratingly for me, is when trainer's/owners with a finger in the breeding pie pump up their colts as being something out of the blue when they again are merely mediocre.
At least Perth Racing media are trying to generate interest to benefit the sport, and not merely the pockets of individuals...
So, in saying that, Buffering by 1/2 over Sea Siren with a further 4l back to whoever else runs...
I doubt Ortensia could give Buffering a good head start at Ascot and beat him
Promises are written on the wind.
