But i'll hold off with the execution order until i have a look at it front on..regularly tells a clearer picture
Maybe they could ban her from riding within 400kms of the city. Stick to Geraldton, Albany, Esperance, Kalgoorlie and the like. Now, That's not the stupidest idea I've ever heard.....
so many 1/2 assed rides that we notice, and she goes out and has a fair dinkum go.
her skills are still growing that is why she is an apprentice.
if we start banning apprentices from city racing for mistakes, we wont have any riding in the city..
give her another chance!
also smoking Joe Azzopardi...3 winners as well
I've just about had enough of you bagging jockeys, knock it off before Ellies dad gets on here
Gold PB Gold
if they have a problem with ellie, they should take it up with him..
MEDIA RELEASE
Thoroughbred – Resumption of Stewards’ Inquiry – Apprentice E. Cockram – REAL GLOW – Ascot Saturday, 26 January 2013
Stewards concluded the Inquiry into the reason for DISTINCTIVE DANE (S. Meeres) being tightened and bumped near the 200m in Race 7 the Danmar Homes Handicap (1400m) run at Ascot on Saturday, 26 January 2013.
Further evidence was taken from Apprentice E. Cockram and her host Trainer Ms D. Riordan.
Ms Cockram was found guilty to a charge of careless riding under ARR.137(a) for allowing REAL GLOW to shift outwards near the 200m and bump with DISTINCTIVE DANE which was tightened and restrained and bumped with COUNTER OFFER (T. Turner) causing that mare to be tightened and steadied.
Apprentice E. Cockram subsequently had her permit to ride in races suspended for a period of 21 days to commence from midnight 3 February 2013 and to expire at midnight on 24 February 2013.
Further, due to her recent poor record in relation to careless riding offences she was advised under the provisions of ARR.92A(2) that she would be referred to the Riding Skills Panel during her period of suspension for mentoring and further training to assist in the development of her riding skills to avoid causing interference in future.
