Last week's trials from Albany are unavailable....that's great when triallers will be running today at Mt Barker. Also the trials at Lark Hill on 2/12/13 weren't filmed ffs.
They charge good money but the service is a joke.

Its crazy Rodent. If all the videos were free and professionally and quickly put on the site it would encourage turnover. Now all it does it piss off those who do pay.

I haven't paid for PR.com membership since around the first year of inception.

Sky show some of the trial replays (not all and can be difficult if you want to see a particular trial), but honestly I just didn't find the PR.com membership that worthwhile.

If you're paying for a service it should be first rate - this excuse of having to have a dvd delivered is ridiculous - they should have all race/trial replays uploaded to a cloud type storage, so the video guys in Perth just pull them down (off the cloud) and post them up on PR.com - but that may be too simple!

Pretty sure someone around Albany/Mt Barker can work out how to upload to a file sharing site/cloud storage!

Well I see that Albany trials 28/11/13 are available so we know they were filmed. What possible excuse could there be for them not being available for viewing on PR.com on 6/12/13 when Mt Barker were racing?
Back in the day, the lovely people at Pegasus photos (they filmed Albany and Mt Barker) were extremely obliging and would express post to Sydney a VHS copy of the races/trials. It was 2 business days later that I would wander out to my letter box to retrieve the parcel.
Fast forward to 2013 and PR.com can't get vision up 5 business days or 8 calendar days later???
Simply, someone is not doing their job properly and need to be moved on.
Similarly, why no vision of Esperance trials 30/11? They are on the PR.com meeting list but again, no vision when it is needed.
p.s will someone please get rid of the "Vision Coming Soon" from the Esperance trials on 2/11/13. If it aint up over a month later it aint gonna be up.

Absolute bloody joke those Lark Hill trials not being filmed, it's just simply inexcusable that in day and age it can happen. There's been winners galore come out of them of course and you haven't been able to see a single one of those trials, someone's head should roll.

I have always felt there was a responsibility on host organisations to provide anything and everything to promote the Industry. This is a basic, it is not something to boast about that they do for no charge. At the other end of the scale is the user pay system. Where racedays and  trials are seen as a revenue source. So people vote with their feet, and the very operation of this ill thought out idea, becomes a financial burden and when put under pressure, it comes off second best.

Organisations  that host or promote Racing in WA need to do it at no charge, the product is simply not strong enough to be pay per view.

I logged on to have a look at the Bunbury trials of 2yo's Keleca and Prentice who were engaged in race 1 at Ascot today.
Trial 1 and trial 2 each show vision of Spin Da Wheels winning. The 2yo's are nowhere to be found. Another example of paying big $ for a service that I can't use. I wanted to bet in race 1 but couldn't due to someone's pathetic effort. Does anyone check their work there?

I just realised, the missing trial is available FREE on the Bunbury Turf Club website!
Well done Bunbury! To PR.com :-q

It is annoying that even as an owner you can't watch the replays without being a PR member I live up north probably get to the races 3-4 times a year unless have one in a big race yet have to pay full membership to see my horses trial & race it is really stating to annoy me the more I think about it.

They lost me when they started charging for them.
I phoned and complained about it, only to get a tirade of abuse from that fat idiot that supposedly gets horses to attend our carnival. He stated that they owned them and that every body has to pay to watch them. Well I have news for you fatso, from when you started that elitist attitude to your product , the crowds have been staying away in droves.
Wake up to yourselves , you want to attract people , not turn them away.

I wouldn't mind paying say for example $50 a year for access to replays but I don't want to have to pay for full membership just to watch them... It's total BS

Yep, I was happy paying $150 per year for PR.com membership, and then i walked when it was upped to $275.
The explanation was that it hadn't been upped in 4 years and this jump represented a modest increase over that time period. Please, it doubled in price for no change in service.

Its still $150 per year, ONLY if you buy the $395 full membership. What a rip off :-&

WAROA all the way if you want to be a member of something, at least it gives you free entry to all race meetings around the state (except the "big" three in town).

Anyone else having trouble with videos loading very slowly this week, it's taking a ridiculous amount of time for any one race or trial to fully load.
