    I would not mind the gig..nice little earner.
    don't forget its all digital and would be a piece of pi$$ once you got the hang of it.
    bet the snapper loves multiple owners in a win.. $-)
    talking of snappers..wish nicks would go out to tender, it really IS substandard.

    Yer he is the not the only one in the industry who thought they are doing you a favour rather than providing a service much like getting served in the north west.
    Saying that it is always good to have a change in every industry nothing lasts forever.
    Sure he is smart enough to find another way to make a quid and wont have to put up with the general public as much never much fun.

    This is not the case. I believe Scott had an altercation with a third party which caused the end of the contract. Either way, that's not simon Merritt's fault.
    He's a good guy, very friendly and a good photographer. He'll make a good go of it.

    I always got on well with him. In saying that I saw some crazy things in the mounting yard. I can see how people would have been a little offended with the comments and actions. I knew my spot and I didn't cross him. I sincerely wish him all the best though.

    Scotty has always had a bad temper and abused people and it has been going on for years.  He has threatened lots of people in the industry over the years he has been the photographer.  Its time the turf club put a stop to his behaviour.  With no competition he has been able and allowed to carry on as he pleases.  I was around and have known his father for years and he was one of the most likeabe blokes on the racecourse.  Shame this was not a trait that Scotty inherited.  See how goes abusing brides and grooms.
