AC not that it matters but Brad asked kevin Temple if 100k would buy him, who told him to speak to JW snr. It never went any further as KT said 100k wouldnt buy him.

Spinking the certain bookmaker owns 50% with a close friend taking 25% of that.

Horse is in the paddock so I reckon this thread has run it's course

i think benito fell in his lap.
besides that, maybe he just reached his level.
not too many options once one gets to his rating level.

Trading Day is not an 1100m horse for starters. Didn't have the best of luck today as Carey stated.

you cannot replace the trainer that owns about 50%.
I learned never to have an interest in a horse when the trainer is also a part owner..its a pharquing handcuff...never a golden one..... >:P

some of the comments about trading days run today in a race far too short for him are comical or the people are so bitter

and is that good training starting the horse over an unsuitable distance , the trainer/owner gave a glowing report in yesterdays paper about the horses chances over its next 2 starts , plus the punters backed the horse with a decet amount of money late 10s to 6 s suggesting it should of run better

Houdini how much of your sale money did you put on him ? If you didn't back him just move on take your sale money to the yearling sale and buy another one but you need to move on we all cop knocks in life so instead of getting bitter and twisted think positive and pro-active onwards and upwards and life will be better.

Too be honest , I still can not work out the sale of this horse. The horse is rated 90 or there around the mark so basically every 72-78 - 84+ rated races he will be pretty close to being top weighted , to buy a horse I thought a smarter investment would been to purchase one on the way up working through the grades to collect cheques. I don't think the trainer can bring this horse to the next level . If I bought this horse when it was sold (which hypothetically I wouldnt do due to the rating) the only option was to send this horse over east ala a path Solsay has taken ...only way to recover money to pay for this animal
