R1. Gate Bar & Bistro Maiden - Scott Embry

Not great mates with any Gingers so a win here and Ginger Ninja could rocket straight to the top of the pecking order. Two very solid performances since resuming from a spell with fast finishing efforts behind All Too Much and Nanci Gee. Should get a lovely run throughout and prove too strong. Bull's Express will appreciate the services of Dan Staeck in the saddle, he looks to have a hoof on the till, the main danger. For third I'll speck a roughie who I imagine will be pushing 100-1, Request A Moment, half sister to Hue and Cry she should be ready to show her best over a mile third up. Definitely worth a place ticket.

1. GINGER NINJA - 3. BULL'S EXPRESS - 10. REQUEST A MOMENT

SUGGESTED BET - 1. GINGER NINJA $30 x $30

R2. Programmed Group Maiden - Scott Embry

3 year old Husson Lighning gelding Wobbegong resumes following a strong trial victory and was heavily supported in betting at his second career start when narrowly defeated by Let's Go Lakers. Last run as a 2 year old behind Kaapander was solid and this looks a suitable assignment. Natural Luck made good late ground first-up behind Mysticity and will be mowing turf late. Fairly keen on the 2-6 quinella. Missilpop is a front running type who couldn't crack it for a win up in Broome and has returned to the Albuino stable, will steal one soom. Sproutable Lass resumes for new trainer Brett Pope after 742 days away from the track, kudos to an incredibly patient owner.

    6. WOBBEGONG - 2. NATURAL LUCK - 7. MISSILPOP

    SUGGESTED BET - 6. WOBBEGONG $20 x $20

R3. Statewide Oil Maiden - Scott Embry

I definitely think that this is a 2 horse race between Bob Peters' debutant gelding King River and team Casey's Princess Rouge. King River, a rare Peters Yealing Purchase of $220 000, half brother to Elite Falls from the John O'Shea yard who ran third in the 2011 Golden Slipper to Sepoy and Mosheen. Regally bred, looks to have abundant ability and should get all the favours of the inside gate while Princess Rouge has put the writing on the wall at all three career runs behind midweek types in Tre Amici and Handyman. I think they will quinella the race and kick away from the rest of the field with Return on Capital the next best after a fast finishing second albiet in a weak Bunbury Maiden.

    7. KING RIVER - 10. PRINCESS ROUGE (NZ) - 1. RETURN ON CAPITAL

    SUGGESTED BET - 7. KING RIVER $30 x $30

R4. Bunbury Motel & Serviced Apartments Maiden - Scott Embry

A very even group of 3 year old maidens tackle the 1300m and I settled on the Grant Williams trained Western Belle, from a well related family out of Redoute's Choice mare Broadway Belle she made her debut as a $3.60 favourite when beaten almost three lengths by stablemate Delicacy. Trial was soft and she should be competitve. Miss Chilly Filly should be a decent eachway price and can hit the line hard off the back of a hot speed. Cabana Boy ran an encouraging fifth only beaten 2.3 lengths Belle La Vie which does look a handy form reference for a race of this quality, could easily roll forward and lead in this without surprising.

    11. WESTERN BELLE - 10. MISS CHILLY FILLY - 3. CABANA BOY

Happy to be on the improving 4 year old mare Danabresa in this stayers race, well supported at each run this preparation she looked to relish a step up to 2000m last start when recording an impressive victory. Fields don't get much weaker than this and she should be posting back to back victories. Gracie May should be the big improver stepping up to 2000m for the first time in her career, this type of trip has always looked as though it will suit her and with blinkers removed expect her to settle down at the rear and thunder home late. Mystic Dust is a tiny little mare who has only recorded the one win from 59 starts and that was 1010 days ago but she is always whacking away and can definitely run a drum here.

    3. DANABRESA - 5. GRACIE MAY - 10. MYSTIC DUST

    SUGGESTED BET - 3. DANABRESA $30 x $30

Miss Halloween should really be winning this race, meets main rivals Steel Spur, Assets 'N' Cash and Long Over Due better at the weights having beaten them home at her last two starts, the weight advantage is courtesy of the 4kg claim for Shaun O'Donnell Jnr. He has only ridden the three winners in his 56 race career but gets an excellent chance to notch a fourth here. Miss Halloween has had 5 starts over a mile at Pinjarra for 3 wins and a second, drawn barrier 2 everything points to her recording a second straight victory. Steel Spur is best ridden cold and allowed to power home, if they go too hard out in front then he will be swooping late. Assets 'n' Cash will appreciate being back at Pinjarra and is the big improver.

    4. MISS HALLOWEEN - 7. STEEL SPUR - 1. ASSETS 'N' CASH

    SUGGESTED BET - 4. MISS HALLOWEEN $30 x $30

R7. Lark Hill Vets Handicap - Scott Embry

Max Almighty has always shown above average ability and his form lines behind Outlaw Pete, Gigante and Vengabus look far superior to rivals here and off the back of a soft run in transit from barrier 2 he should be able to win his second career race at start 11. Finished right alongside Wink and a Nod in Saturday company when chasing hard behind tare away leader Vengabus. That has already proven a strong form reference and I expect Max Almighty to continue that on Wednesday. Because I Said has her second run for the Williams stable and will definitely appreciate an extra 100m after being unable to reel in Been Shafted first up. Zedspiel is another of the class droppers after finishing midfield behind Danaura in the Mandurah Cup. Form behind Run for Rum and Temporise in particular suggest a strong showing from him.

    9. MAX ALMIGHTY - 10. BECAUSE I SAID - 6. ZEDSPIEL

    SUGGESTED BET - 9. MAX ALMIGHTY $30 x $30

R8. Mandurah Stockfeeds Handicap - Scott Embry

Sir Dandy may have to carry his fair share of weight and jump from a very awkward barrier but he also looks to have a lot more scope and upside than most of these. Lead all the way when beating Lequest at this track over this distance in Feb 2014 before tackling much tougher company including a Saturday 3 year olds event when far from disgraced only 4.3 lengths behind Scenic Blast Stakes winner Cool Trade. Trial behind Thateldo was excellent and he should prove hard to beat. There doesn't look to be a great deal of speed in the race so War Profile should give a bold front running showing for little Jake Casey while another PTT owned horse Fizza Ma Wizza will be chasing hard and sure to provide a great deal of banter in coming days. Good luck to both Rio and The Bull.

    1. SIR DANDY - 7. WAR PROFILE - 9. FIZZA MA WIZZA

    SUGGESTED BET - 1. SIR DANDY $30 x $30
