I just can't warm to that ride from Pike, got across easy he should have kept it off the fence.

Piston summed it up Brad has no C$&t in him. Add no confidence to that and you're struggling. Is marginally better then ten years ago.

Battle Hero pulled himself into the ground forgive the run.

Saxophonist will be the best of this crop by carnival time.

It pains me to say it, but  overall, you have a very ordinary lot of riders in WA.

Pike is very good, but he does ride for the best stable and gets the best horses from the top stables. Even then he can slaughter a horse.

It really is hard to back any horse there with confidence, and I read the frustration over the bad rides week in week out.

Because of my interest in the punters club, I watched Paul Harveys ride very closely. He is supposedly a top jockey and absolutely slaughtered Terror Force. What he did was inexcusable.

As I said, I didn't have a bet in the race other than my PC interest, but when you see rides like that, I really feel for the poor punter that has had his last $20.00 each way trying to crawl out of a hole, only to see that ride.

In the old days, there would have been a massive demonstration and the jockey would have required an armed guard to get home in one piece.

I'm happy we have gone past doing that, but sometimes, I feel like bringing back the old days.

You don't get your money back, but at least you get a chance to ventilate your frustrations at the track and don't go home and kick the cat.

Agree. He is one of our worst and will be lucky to last a few weeks in Singapore as they won't put up with his rubbish, the good old excuses used here week in week out won't save him in Singapore. Punta needs to do a book on how long he will last. Maybe KL and visit Edwards however probably last as long their. No Singapore owner will give him a ride surely.

Well said happens far to much go and have a look at toomy berry ride today in sydney on winx was about 2 out of ten punters just get no protection.

Thunderclap Newman would be $1.40 with a good draw. Highly secret & Satans Dancer's form is suspect.

Thunderclap will smash them $2.8 is luxury should be odds on.

I actually agree mailman, berry's ride on Winx was bad. I follow two jockeys in Sydney, McDonald & Shinn. You think I didn't have a good day..... $-)
