    Well apparently Ross left Etihad today livid, but they have nobody to blame but themselves for having to entice someone else away from their club because they haven't drafted accordingly, and they have failed a few times in recent years to get their man.

    I knew this was coming 5 years ago as I have been harping on about and now its a reality.

    And yes it makes me laugh, if that is 'bitter' as you say then so be it, but don't know what I have to be bitter about when it comes to Freo...

    P.S you and the rest of the Freo crew here have been going on about our pedestrian midfield for some time now...if you want to dish it, expect some back .

    Spare me the after-the-event Perth media narrative that it wasn't a GF WCE could win. Bullshit, they had it prepped perfectly and shat the bed big time, biggest GF bed shitting since Geelong.

    Systematically dismantled them 2 weeks earlier (without your 'best' player, lol), got them in the heat (older team) with no break and harder prelim.

    It was an IBF level choke. Kennedy couldnt miss from outside 50 all year, doesnt make the distance early on from 40. Set the tone.

    Hardly a word spoken about it since though, so didn't happen that way clearly ...

    Anybody associated with the Carlton Footy Club who cannot now pronounce the word "REBUILD", is in denial and should be committed.

    Silvagni and Bolton seem to be going about things the right way, hope they get the draft picks right too. It's going to be another average year or two, but I think things will be on the up after that.

They don't need him as much as Freo but all teams look to improve their list. I'm sure GWS will give the Eagles a call  and try and get them involved if Freo try and lowball them on the trade but I don't think that will happen. Freo will pay fair price. They can't expect to get a contracted player for bugger all If they're willing to pay him  $700000 a season according to reports, The bottom line is Freo  want him and McCarthy wants to go to Freo so that's what will more than likely happen.

    Just google Freo McCarthy $700000. I didn't say it was correct, just reported. Might be a load of crap but it's definitely out there. I think it came from Jay Clark of the Herald Sun. You also have to remember  he was given the 250k contract extension before he even played a game so he would be worth a lot more than that now especially to Freo and I'm pretty sure his manager would know that.

    If he has issues with staying focused on playing football in another state at the highest level i'd suggest that he HAS ISSUES....

    Wouldn't touch him with a barge pole if i was at either Perth club
