R5 looks an open race to me even with the short priced Pike favourite. Shaun O'Donnell is not exactly riding in career best form but can't ignore Smooth Flirts record at the track. He ran a good race last start, think I'll take an EW heavy the place.

Saxon Saxoff is fitter and should cruise along in front.....26 and 4.80 may even get better.
or at least be on the tail of the Pigeon.....

    cheers

Stirling Estate didn't really come up last prep but was well fancied a few times. I notice bar plates on which might mean he had some recent foot issues. Carried 58.5kg behind decent mares Detente and Miss Sondrio and only beaten 3.5 lengths. Today drawn well and carrying 3kg less think he can run a decent race.

I reckon Prince Turbo will beat the fav. in the opener.

R8 If Another Remark can get to the front fairly easily he will give a great sight, was a soft win in his maiden..

I got $60 about the Duck. Shame it couldn't paddle a little quicker!

So how much did Golgotha win by ??  By DMacs call it had it won at 200m & Cassowary Street was headed - not on my TV Cassowary Street always had at least a neck advantage over the favourite.

Nice result. Interesting first prep has started now 4 times in career all over 2000m
