Anyway after my stuff up,i see Brett Prebble is riding Pounamu, was this an Owner decision?honestly dont think Alan Mathews would do that,as he is pretty loyal to Carbery, and he do win a big one with Pounamu last season.

I think it’s great that Robin Williams lost that game of tennis she has come along way since mrs doubtfire - movie star and tennis star - brilliant career.

i can remember a bit after northerley, that kersley set up a melbourne stable and carbery tried his luck over here at about the same time.
last i remember before he went home was that he had clocked up 100 rides or more, no winners.
maybe he did not want to relive that memory?

i don't want to imply that he did not ride any winners, i think he rode 1 or 2, but then the outs started piling up and he went thome with that huge streak intact,

I'm positive he rode many more than 1 or 2 Carey but he'd agree that it wasn't as successful as you'd dream it to be.

According to racing and sports records Carbery has had 465 rides in Victoria for 25 winners.

That includes 93 rides at the main metro tracks (Caulfield, MV and Flem) for 0 winners.

    in that stint?
maybe he had been here before the stint when kersley set up a stable here.
i think i can remember him winning one for kersley at sandown one day, which was a metro track.
i can't remember if his 100+ outs was just city or included provincial too.
i guess it's irrelevant anyway, as it's a long time ago.

That was all his rides in Victoria, time frame not specified.

I did not include Sandown but maybe should have, between the 2 Sandown tracks he had 3 winners from 55 rides.
