Some terrific pacing contests on offer tonight from both an aesthetic & punting perspective at GP & Narrogin.
Don't know how long Nathan has had Jimmy Recard but I have always had an opinion of the horse & will prod forward on the pitch early with him & hope for a thickish edge into the ropes for 4. Jnr might get a pleasant shock with him.
Going to raise the bat & let Magnificent Storm go through to the keeper in his race. May be too many race hardened good horses for him to negotiate tonight & in his debut as a first grade opener he will be under more pressure than Joe Root to see off the new ball. Sure to be a great race just the same.
Star of Willoughby wasn't a fluke last start....he was suited by the war but there is every chance he can do the same thing driven the same way.

At Narrogin Hayden Reeves & Peter Anderson will need road trains taking their starters across but it is great to see full 10 horse fields in 6 of the 7 races. Winners seem well disguised in most races too. Might have a dash at Allzfairnluvnwar ...a well bred 2 y/o for Mal & Hayden Hancock. I think it would be Mal's first starter for a while.
Good luck to all involved toniight

The next at Narrogin - Race 6 - favourite will be hard to beat - however ive had a small e/w on the 9 horse Better Be Artful at the $17 ok run last start wide on track - i think it can run in the 1st 4-5 - with a flukers/knockout hope of winning

Had some bets at Bunbury tonight

But my biggest outlay - and the one im pretty keen on - is Race 3  no 10 Just Like Shannon at the $11 e/w

The favoured runners have got pretty average form - mind you it has to - however i was really impressed by its trial for the new trainer at Byford

If it runs up to that trial effort - i think it will be very hard to beat

    You are in form Marko

Im back interested in WA Harness racing - simply because there is a bit of value to be found

Where as when i lost interest - there would be say 9 races - with 6-7 of the winners $1.50 or less - and the only way you could make money in that situation was playing tris and 1st 4s - and as Riders used to post - someone would come off the pegs 3 or 4 back and his 1st  4  was confetti

Ive allways liked backing horses at a price on an E/W - and in WA Harness at present you can do that
