The connections of Jamie Kim would be disappointed not getting getting a start with form of 4114. The discretionary handicapping seems hard to follow.

Just on Jamie Kim - and i was going to post this a few weeks back but i noticed that Kristian Hawkins is training it and he has done a good job with it

KH he was a jockey - then a trainer/driver - and from memory he trained that top mare who  won the Village Kid Sprint at Notrtham when it was a really good race - he had that  thing going like a gazelle - then he became a Trots steward

As Jimmy Jacques said , once you get a little bit of harness racing  in your blood you are hooked for life and dont we  all know that

And wouldnt  it be great if Matt ( seeing  he is a prominent and successfull trainer ) would give his view re an 800 metro track - as Warren has mentioned  10 years ago approx their were engineering drawings for a planned 960 metre track at GP - which i think would have been utterly fantastic . Would he like to see an AP size track at GP if possible and what is the general talk amongst fellow trainers and drivers , would they like to see an AP size metro track in Perth

Hi Marko, Track sizes are certainly a controversial subject. The perfect size in my opinion is 1000m and Pinjarra in WA is the perfect track. If you don't have a handicap system that actually handicap horses it doesn't matter what size the track is and that's been proven all over Australia especially in Victoria with most tracks 1000m. So i repeat No Handicap No Turnover No Future.
