Damn shame for such a good rider. Question is now with weight concerns & 6 months off will he make it back ????

    mmm i think he might struggle to make it back he could well end up on the crap pile that comes from getting on the drugs there is never a good story from taking these things is there fair dinkum

    I can't believe people get on drugs. Surely everyone is well aware of the dangers these days. It's pretty sad that some people just seem hell bent on destroying themselves. The bloke had everything going for him but seemingly that wasn't enough.

    Obviously riding winners doesn't give certain jockeys enough of a high or at least a high that lasts long enough.

    you grew up in another era would probably explain it.
    people know about smokes and grog too, and are they any better for you??
    but yes i hate drugs too, as would most my age.
    i once flushed a matchbox full of a white powder which i won't name down the
    dunny when i was about 20 or so.
    nearly cost me my life for doing it, and soon after did for the person whose they were.

    I certainly did grow up in a different era. There were still plenty of drugs around though.
    I sat in a room on Randwick racecourse with my workmates and had a bong stuffed in my face and said no. I was under great pressure as everybody else was doing it. I was 17 and said no. I've said no to sucking on nitrous, I've said no to cocaine, I've said no to ecstacy (and that cost me a night with one of the hottest girls I've ever met). I still think that I should have gone back to her place and pretended to take that pill

    Anyone know the drug that causes the biggest health issues?
    Hint......its legal.
    And not good for jockeys.
    And its cheap.
    and its everywhere.
    Causes more death and health problems then anything.

    i'd love a fat yak. :D turned 40 on saturday just gone. drank a lot of fat yaks. felt like i'd been trampled by one on Sunday. :cry:
