Must be . Would've been a very winnable if things were ok. Looking at the race Vengabus or Dawn Approach will be favourites . Tiger Pete gets in well at the weights but I suspect he is in last chance hotel

    ^ How VERY predictable x3
  • What's the infatuation with this horse? Get over it, it's been a decent Saturday horse that's it.

For a $100,000 race it is barely a 75 tating race in town

would have been the class in the field - 59kg,  2nd up on that track - probably a wise move

having a quick look would have to say Vengabus will be hard to beat with 54.
Rebelson the danger with Dawn Approach also if it can run out the 1300

It would be a very good horse if it had a trainer.

on reflection, I have to agree with you, sadly.
BUT, what % have the new owners got....those guys are no fools.
as I have found out, its folly to go into a horse when the trainer has a %age....its a handcuff.

Think you'll find they were pretty keen to buy them out entirely but were unable to do so.

the trainer should of thought of that before last fridays interview in the newspaper , which stated the horse was running in  this race

You are coming across as a complete tool, it is an owners or trainers perogative to change their mind, as anyone could do after accessing a horse after a run.  If you are so bitter why did you not buy the horse outright yourself.

Yep & that owner had a relationship that was fantastic with the trainer  , everything that was in place was magic , like beautiful music . Back then Piston Broke was a no one

PB has never been a no-one. Just ask him, he'll put your right.
    ;) :D

On a serious note i struggle to understand why you guys are so narky about a horse that you once owned??? Once you move them on, its all over. Let it go.

I'm a regular - get your back up and have a whinge sort of guy - but i generally do it when i feel i have a chance of changing something..You guys are just bitter. Can't see how you are going to enjoy racing horses when you hold on to the past like you do.

Get over it, line up the next one at the coming auction and put all this effort into that...

So what's the issue? Average trainer and average jock.... Let's call it a 0-0 draw.

if anyone looked at the horse 1st up, you would have seen he was carrying more weight than FreoHitmans g/F, hmm that may be a bit of an exaggeration ;)

40.20 for last 800m isnt too bad for a straight 6 at Flem. bit average for a last 600m at Ascot though
