Heard on track today that Belmont
Will not be ready next Week ?
Hope this rumour is Wrong
Can anybody shed some light ?

    The course proper looked good on monday from the grandstand. Or do u mean the facilities?

    the facilities haven't been ready for a decade, so just open the gates and hope it doesn't rain too much like every season at Belmont!!! haha

    I must say i had a good look on Monday without distraction, they are literally 3rd world facilities.

    Don't think the track is the issue
    But the movement of the infrastructure facilities etc
    As I said hope I'm wrong !

    Compared to some of the tracks I have attended in the UK and the USA believe me Belmont is a luxury

    If whinging was an Olympic Sport, everyone of you would be a World Champion.
    At least we have a Track to seasonally change to (ie: morphettville or morphettville)

    Of topic but since you mentioned Olympics.....

    This year at the nude olympics in the 4 x 100 metres mens relay Australia were disqualified. The third runner dropped his baton at the final change and the fourth runner dragged him for 20 metres.

    I had cause to visit darrem mac. in the broadcast box last year. man, it was creepy, down this narrow suspended passage, old faded, spider-webbed persplex, rickety wood floor. no wonder he rarely leaves the box...talk about a fire trap!!
