See link below, the article talks about Star Exhibit's win at Caulfield today but the latter part of the article also makes mention that Real Love has been retired due to injury.

    Still remember watching the perth cup at the bayswater tab and thinking what is he (jockey) doing going to the front?? Great horse, hopefully she throws something just as good

    I go to the Bayswater TAB often. But just on Real Love:

    She won eight stakes races in total including the Perth Cup and won four stakes races in the eastern states including..

    2016 G3 JRA Cup (2040m Moonee Valley)

    2016 G3 Premier 's Cup (2200m Doomben)

    2016 G3 Chairman's Handicap (2000m at Doomben)

    2016: Listed Roy Higgins Quality (2600m at Flemington)

    Had 39 starts: 10-6-7 and won $1,457,660. Easily the best Perth Cup winner in terms if a Perth Cup winner winning stake races outside WA, which a lot of Perth Cup winners have struggled to do in recent times.

    Its a pity Real Love wasn't able to win that elusive Group 1 but probably not quite good enough. Still though a good career.

    Who do you lot think she will go to for her first service? I would say maybe Medaglia d'Oro but wouldn't mind seeing the mating of her to Americain (risky). I wouldn't mind hearing some of you more experienced people's opinions.

    I was there and had backed her for a punters club I was in....the tactics ended up being genius....she was a great mare!

    Still remember the day when Real Charm beat her, when Real Love was odds on!
