I was reading a post on another site regarding unpaid workers entitlements. This would be a interesting audit especially in Harness Racing and most probably all codes.I remember back in 2016 when on BOTRA we approached RWWA re the payment of superannuation to drivers but it was rejected. Forward six years and with legal advice RWWA had to pay with some drivers receiving back payments up to 50k. I would think trainers would become very nervous if a audit was to take place.

    The days of any employees missing out on theior super are nearly over , because the law will change on the 1/7/26

    From that date on every employer has to pay an employees super with each pay run 

    Thus if you have a fortnightly pay run for all your employees and with single touch payroll you have to file those payruns electronically and  promptly with the ATO - you have to pay that employees super into their super fund - each fortnight with each payrun 

    There is no more paying employee super every 3 months - every quarter - those days are finished - from 1/7/26 it must be paid with each payrun
