    I once tried to do a conversion for all the great champs into todays equivalent for the races they won and placed in - a horse like Kingston Town was about $15 million :shock:

    I always thought that Guyno was born in NZ so thats why I havent included him in my list. Can anyone confirm that he was born in NZ? If he wasnt I will certainly add him.

    Im only including WA born horses. I do know that Guyno has raced in WA for nearly most of his career though but not sure if he is WA born.

    Im not comparing horses from different eras I just wanted to find out WA highest prizemoney earners thats all because its something that ive wanted to do.

    I will leave the camparisons to the experts.

    hi jesteress, yes your right - if a WA horse wants to make some good money they have to head east. Although having said that El Presidente raced in the West for most of his career and got to the million dollar mark but I know what you mean.
