    promising start agian from ponting, and good to see clark back in the runs, the rest of our batting line up really struggling to come to terms with the pitches. we really need white to find some form, he hasnt looked likely for awhile

    should seriously be considering dropping WHITE, SMITH or HUSSEY and playing JOHNSON as an allround in the 6 or 7 spot with FERGUSON

    They are getting carried away with all rounders and too many bowling options, not enough specialist batsman.

    From the game v SAF they had 9 bowlers:

    Tait
    Lee
    Johnson
    Hastings
    Watson
    Krazy
    Smith
    Clarke
    Watson

    And didn't even bowl D.Hussey?

    Watson, Hussey & Clarke can easily bowl 10-20 overs between them if need be, don't know why we are playing Smith & Hastings?

    It appears the selectors are still confusing one-dayers with Twenty20.

    I would be happy to replace Tait (with who I don't know, perhaps Hastings as there don't seem to be any other options) as I don't think he can bowl 10 overs and is overkill alongside Lee and Johnson.

    Can't wait to see the back of Hilditch when his contract is up, even a WC win may not save him this time.
