With a bit of luck, Hadebeclorka could have won the Bunbury Stakes. Carey? What do you have to say about that? Could it be that the handicapper has been vindicated?

it could have won by 3 miles and still he would have had it wrong.
besides backing proart i was on the top weight too as it was overs for me, but it's all irrelevant as far as hunter is concerned and wfa stronger than handicaps.

was a great day on track, the btc staff in the tents were friendly and helpful to every1 there, and seemed a decent crowd. Did plently on the punt but had a cracking day,

My selections & Stakes form guide were circulated at the corporate function in the Rogan Josh room - I expected to go belly up but jagged 4 winners. Gee I'm glad I did'nt get a "wipeout".

Just read the stewards report on the last race with stewards to question Staeck about his use of the whip in the straight. I counted approx 20 consecutive hits in the final 100m in what looks to be a forehand manner. Will be interested to see what comes of it.
