...especially 2yo's in 5 horse fields - same deal as Caulfield race 1

In fairness, didn't back it straight out (I'm not that crazy) but banked on it in a multi with MJ, so I'm done, except for a little on Satin Shoes into Maluckyday now!

Golden Slipper betting was just blown out of the water!

maluckyday will be right don't give up on him his main aim is the bmw and he is only having the 3 runs this prep then going back out. 2nd up 2000m with 3rd up 2400m he was entitled to be dour in hindsight.

here's a sob story: Gerry Harvey let myself and 9 mates lease a horse off him a few years ago. we had a list of 40 yearling fillies to choose from (all sight unseen we had to go off the page, some great pedigrees). as a group we narrowed it down to 2 Encosta fillies. basically flipped a coin and the one we took was Encosta x Palatial (ex Palatious , vengeance of rain, danelagh family etc). it's name: Wednesday Rocks . it had 3 trials got slower in every one slowest horse i've seen and was retired without ever going to the races.
The other one. ALOHA.

    So so proud of Melito.
with that weight and on a wet track which she isn't at her best in she's run super again. that's now 13 starts in group ones for 11 top 5 finishes. 8th in the slipper and the vrc oaks the only blemishes at the top level. she's a gun.

I hate those stories Blake but couldnt blame you for the one you selected brillaint family isnt Dignity Dancer,Dizlago in that family also agree gutsy run by your old mans mare big weight on a bog track terrific effort

yeah that's the family, dizelle, vengeance of rain, danelagh, dizlago, bernicia, memphis blues all in there.
aloha's family is a ripper too and we basically just flipped a coin.
but i bet there's a squllion stories like that.
