I think you will find that the real reason there was 20 more starters at GP compared to last year is the simple fact horses up in class can’t race in the country in fear they will cost themselves stake money eg. if they are on $36000 plus and win 1 in the country they will be racing M1 to M6 horses next and for the sake of $4500 so are forced to try and target the better stake money of a M0 (less then $40000).
Country racing will suffer again and it is a guaranteed ploy by Rwwa to get rid of country tracks in the future as soon as they can. The system is a disgrace and so is all involved with Rwwa.
A whole new culture change is needed starting from the top.
