Most joints will bet a fixed all up Carey, that is if you can get set for a bet with them on a single.
-
The horse is god bless his soul, but im still here, sometimes =))
-
Does seem strange, but i guess if that's the only option and they think it can work, then the HKJC are probably the people to get it accurate enough.
-
How are they measuring it, not Trakus surely?
-
Carey - do you see much use other than measuring peak speeds more accurately in having 50m increments?
-
Yes of course they can say bet everyone or no one at all. But they can also charge 10% on turnover if they wanted, which they wont, because they know what the outcome would be.
-
I agree with what your saying Rodent, but if the corporate is forced to bet person B to win $1000 if they take a bet from him / her, then they will just close their account which there is nothing RNSW can do.
-
Only thing I will say re credit clients is, large punters of any persuasion prefer betting on credit. But yes I agree, something needs to be done about banning / restricting.
-
What I mean is rodent, corporates can close accounts for any reason they see fit, that's governed by the NT gaming commision (if they are NT based). All racing NSW can do is say IF you are taking a fixed odds bet on our product, you have to bet to …
-
All they will be able to do is enforce a minimum bet limit to their current clients, not who they do business with. lets say for instance you have a credit client who isnt paying, you close their account. Racing NSW have absolutely no authority to…

Adam Durrant trained TOWER OF LONHRO $3 -> $5 at the death on Betfair, will get to the finish line shortly. :-\"
-
Diva, most likely Lux keep you on their books for the tip, bet you to win 300 and use the info.
-
Or as mentioned, keep doing exactly as they do now, close your account. Racing NSW has absolutely no right to determine who bookmaker XYZ does business with.
-
The corporates just close the winning accounts anyway, anyone with an active account will have no problem getting a bet on anyway so nothing will change.
-
Race 9 today - RAD, could be a star.
-
The ride on TRADED HALO was unexplainable.
-
First class ride from Chris Parnham today on Magnifisio, well done.

As for regression being a waste of time your words not mine used in the way u have put it thats rubbish y simple if a 1400m record breaks down to being run faster each 200m then the 1200m.And they are your track records then u cant use them simple …

Stewards report makes for interesting reading. Lots going on today. Where are they?
-
How did the "top jockey" work out that 1 kilo = .5 lengths?
-
That's the reason I asked. My initial thought is its actually linked into it and they are taking some comm, cos stuffed if i can work out how they got so many clients so quickly.
-
Fastmoney - do you / have you used Citi?
-
Might as well add it here, Charlies Pick $4 - $7 on betfair in seconds, still running.
-
R1 - Yuk. Stank.

Most likely need to do the back testing to see what actually happens to the variable (lets say its recency weighted finish) as 'days' is changed..... Appreciate the code anyway, it wont go to waste in the long run with me .
-
Ar right, ok. Yes i understand the maths, but the thing that doesn't make sense is why you would randomly choose what "days" is rather than writing an algorithm to work out what it should be :-?
-
Cant get my head around how it actually works, why would one set "days" to 90 for instance?
-
Not a bad idea :D
