    No matter what the final outcome Liverpool have had a brilliant season and have overachieved considering most wouldn't have thought they would finish top 4. They don't have the finances and depth of the other two clubs yet they have given them a battle for the title. They have also contributed to an exciting finish to the league rather than the two horse race it appeared it would be earlier in the season.

    Now Chelsea. If they don't win the league it is because with their supposed greatness they threw it away dropping points in supposed easy matches.Yes mathematically they can still win it but if they don't it is a huge failure on their part because they should have had it won by now

    How much of Liverpool's over achievement this season is down to the assistance from the refs as the few times I have seen them they have got the calls

    Liverpool, threw away there best chance of winning the title last night.They will struggle next season playing midweek and the weekends.As I said at the end of last season Liverpool will make the top 4.As for next season I think they will not make the top 4.
    Next year the winners
    will depend on who makes the fastest start to the season after the World Cup.

    The top end team with the most English players will win then, as England will only play three games at the WC

    Mathematically they haven't thrown it away but if they have yes as it stands last night was the game but that was ONE match. How many have Chelsea utilised to throw it away... 4 or 5.

    They've thrown it away if we win our last three, but that's a big IF when the first of those is away to Everton.

    Was in Cambodia but had a bit of difficulty getting away from the 24 hour bars

    Good lively champions league nights / early mornings last week in Bangkok & Phnom Penh.

    Back in Bangkok now having a sleep before going out & among other things watching Crystal Palace win the early Tuesday morning game & City the Wednesday morning game.

    I can't believe Liverpool didn't tighten it up with a three goal lead and why bring on attackers when defenders was the way to go.

    Liverpool have improved out of sight this season and hopefully they can go on now and win the league in the very near future.
