One ( good ) thing about Northam is that it can supply some long priced winners. Always tricky as. Just looking prepost on some prices and what look to be reasonable odds on a few.
Race 2. The Storm Chief @$6.50 had zero luck lately. On a 2 wins 5 places basis should at least run the drum.
Race 5. Difficult race from the stand..The Black Lord @$12 great price again..rejuvenated horse first run back when won at double figures. Did the job well.
Glow Bright @$12 can fly the stand. If happens to lob close maybe a chance. Rusty Rockets a last start winner at Pinjarra is at @$26. Tough off 20 metres but like the $26. But if Grantham lobs in front with favourite Donegal Chokin it could be game over.
Race 6. Stablemate of The Black Lord...Borntobeanartist @$6 also excellent effort first up...awkward gate from the 6 but with the right run and one crack at them can win. Mosquito Buzzin @$8 looks a hope too.

    Hey Riders - which betting agency do you get those odds from

     Ive got vic/nsw accts with TAB.COM  and also acct with WA TAB - but the fixed odds dont go up till about 30 minutes before 1st race

    Was severely checked on the home turn but was not going to play a part anyway.

    Got too far back in the run.

    Maybe another chance for the Chief...good draw and a weak field but testing the patience.... am taking Frosty Flyer led and ran along with Bush Chook 3 back the pegs. Frosty Flyer could really fire up in Adelaide. Didn't realise had come to Perth until recently.

    Chris Lewis $35...still has hit critics too. Best West Australian sportsman seen for longevity and class. But he will drive the occasional bad one and watch them jump out of trees to attack him. Has more driving ability in his little finger than most will ever experience.

    Going to the trots nearly every week in the 80s and 90s was dumbfounded by some knowledgeable punters and others in the game who spoke disparagingly about his driving...wouldn't have a bar of him. Then the penny dropped...just pure jealousy. Didn't like he was so good. Pike as well in the hoops. It's like they are just dying for them to drive or ride a bad one...then put the boots in. Why ? :-??

    Think next start..a good draw...the right run..leaders back preferably...average field...not asking for toooo much here...then can clean up on Borntobeanartist...very good effort tonight. Has a good sharp sprint. Next run should be cherry ripe.
