Bhagwan was $1.28 a place fixed odds. Goodness gracious. Was on a few starts ago and was that ordinary you would never back it again. Next couple not much better.

Tough race the last...like Qtown and Chasey but both are rock bottom odds. But hard to find much else.

Gone the 2...I hate the horse, banned him ages ago but if he leads????

Still hate him, whatever was I thinking.

Not saying they can't win but Trusty Trev in Race 1 and Kiss Chasey in Race 10 are both into very short quotes.

Kiss Chasey is my first choice based on its very good last start effort but no way I could take odds on from outside of the front line.
    Naturally both won.

With hindsight was a massive run Kiss Chasey at Bunbury...had no right to be in the finish that night. Guess was a weak field tonight too. But was short enough odds.

The last two times that Lord Lombo has led before tonight it was in the market and ran last and 2nd last.

So they decide to give it one more go rather than sit on Q Town Rip Roaring and probably earn.

Can't see the logic. Rocket scientists in abundance in harness racing.

Once they get that lead at all costs mentality...anything can happen. Thank goodness Mr.Nickel and Vanquished were driven with nous and maturity. Tuck in behind the favourite and run the drum and still a chance of winning. Not rocket science.

Don't want to knock horses...more so the prices . Keep brief notes on the runners each week...just to remind each time they race again...mainly just plain words like ordinary..fair..great run..unlucky..worked hard etc etc ...three horses that ran tonight there last 3-5 starts have been punctuated with poor , just average , ordinary, next to there names. The Revolution Cyamach and Bhagwan. All 3 well in the betting. Cyamach $1.95 surely not. Think last week wrote somewhere that I could have beaten Cyamach home. Bhagwan $1.28 a place no way. Was that bad a few runs ago said never ever again. The Revolution think four of its previous five starts have been fair to poor , also was well in the betting tonight. That night he completely got run over at $1.30 - red flag!

Bronze Seeker @$164.40 cut Cyamach $1.95 out of third right near the line. 162 points longer in the market :-j

Was The Revolution with J Prentice for a while? That was when it was going well? Prentice not training as many of the Charles horses now?

@chris think it was me that tipped Mosquito a while ago, I like the horse anyhow!

Stayed out all night, nearly backed Smokey but thought Warwick would get straight off the fence on the 10 making Smokey go further back than actualy eventuated. Agree its good to have him running well.

Gee Bahgwan continues to go ordinary, just because it was drawn to lead certainly made no diffference.

Interestingly Harry Hoo, Natural Disaster and Soho Tribeca all rated pretty similar. I know Tribeca was massive but Natural Disaster had plenry in the tank too, was 60/1 watab for Nugget after the race, draw will play such a massive part for horses like him though in the Nugget.

Very much looking forward to the next month.

If Baghwan had been $12 and $2.50 would have been interested. Cyamach around 3-$3.50 and The Revolution around double figures... may have even been interested...but when coming into rock bottom unders..good luck. But it's only opinion on prices. What's unders to one punter can be overs to another.

A win in the right race just around the corner for Brookies Jet in the final race last night. Not far off the longer priced stablemate saluting. Unlucky to run into Kiss Chasey who last start at Bunbury was enormous. Even though laid down abit in concluding stages think Kiss Chasey will be more than competitive in the right field for awhile yet. Most improved horse.

Thought Cut For An Ace was excellent...only a top grade horse beat it. Tribeca was great again and Cut For An Ace a win is close.
