Albany Tonight.

Harness & Greyhounds
Golden Nugget runner up Nathan's Courage in race 7. Looks a certain leader and winner , hoping the other Nathan can slot Little Astro Boy from barrier two in behind him and run the quinella.

Great run Little Astro Boy...should have run a clear second. $2.20 a drum. Clever drive by Turvey to guide him home into third when all seemed lost.

Yep, that sums it up Riders...Nathans Courage way too good for Albany but it was a $10k race in the bush, so why not...good placement......been a long time since Tammin trainer David Goulden had a winner as well......he persists and persists with old timers, picking up cheques where ever he can...old Nicen Shady went around for years occasionally popping up. Anyway, good on him...he will stay down in Albany for their season and do his best....think he won a race down there last year with Telgraph Road or Across The Way...be nice to see what he could do with a decent young horse.

Yep, and Haveacrackadda breaks his duck....and 6 out of the 8 are getting a cheque....and even more incredulous, on New Years Eve there was $10k invested. Can remember getting 4  bags of chaff when we run 4th at Tammin one day...good thing we took the double float....winning check was $350 bucks, I don't reckon we did too badly out of the deal...was good fresh cut steam pressed chaff as well.

Just watched the replay of the last.

Fergie Nike could not keep up at Kalgoorlie and was beaten 77m at its last start at Wagin so Nathan Dymock elects to hold the lead rather than sit on the favourite.

The favourite wins in 2:05.2 and Fergie Nike drops out and runs last again.

    The mind boggles.
