Back on the air this week after being short staffed last Saturday. Remember to text if you don't hear come 11am.

    Can we punt it all? The interest in the club seems pretty dead. Keep going all in and see if we can get a balance big enough to go to the track and have a punt club and some drinks.

    there wont be no 'keep going all in' if we use that approach and punt it all

    if you wanna go down that path then i'd suggest having 2 or 3 bets spread over 2 or 3 different races as a bit of insurance.... 

    then whatever the balance unload it on Winx for Cox Plate day then with those winnings buy a share in a horse!? we can all own a hair of the tail between the group haha

    Who cares interest is dead in the club if we go bust so what. This slow painful death is what killed any interest in the club. Bet it all or don't.

    $47 a pop, would suggest that we have about $470 left

    Everybody post one winning bet for Saturday at Perth. Not the best odds, or the best overs or whatever **** you do with your own money......But your best bet to WIN..no pharking e/w or place bets(that is actually only for me as I'm the worst at e/w bets i think!! haha).. Even if it is a $2 shot. Horse nominated the most gets the money. If there are equal nominations Chris has the deciding choice. Nominations on here by 9.30am Sturday.

    $250 this week and do the same next week, and the week after, until we either have $2k or nothing. $2k will then be a good day at the track for those who can make it, or the end of the club...Either way it'll be better than this slow death.

    Chris has the deciding choice? it's a punters club should be a group thing should it not

    I'd still like to see the 2 bets on the same card, almost a double chance type of insurance thing

    Can we please do the the following for week 150? 

    My initial suggestion  months ago, was that Chris picks a race, we vote on our selection, and based on a 1, 2, 3, basis we put 60% of the bank on the top selection, 30% on selection 2 and 10% on selection 3.
    If we have a tie for first we have 45% on each of the horses and the same if we have a tie for second and third pick, we have 20% on each.

    Now I don't reckon that is too difficult. If we want to control our own destiny, we can even vote on the race we want to bet on, and the most votes obviously wins.

    Let's see what and if we win, and if we do have a decent win, we can do it again next week, or revert back to our current system.

    We are currently in the midst of a long illness. Interest has collapsed, with no Rusty or others bothering to post. My excuse is that I have been away working and time constraints have made it difficult to post. 

    Having said that though, I reckon if we are putting say $200 on our top selection and 50 on the second and 20 on the third, I would find the time to at least vote.

    Why can't we give this a go. We either do o.k. or have a small win, or go bust. 

    At the moment, my old man's saying is looking very accurate.
