Pinjarra Today - 4 Great Clashes In Quaddie Legs.

Harness & Greyhounds
The main quaddie today will see 4 terrific "match races" between some smart horses.

Race 5. Rockaball v Beaudiene Beachbabe v Babyface Adda

Race 6. Bletchley Park v Sweet 'N Fast v Pradas Ideal Dahling

Race 7. You Gotta Have Faith v Come Dance With Me

Race 8. Sunoflindenny v Rock 'N Roll Baby v Ton Tine

Rockaball is an interesting one, was a little dissapointed with him first up but then second up at Pinjarra was super impressive, will be keen to see how he fares today. Beaudiene Beach Babe & Baby Face Adda will take some stacking. Also a rough one for a place in that race - Soho Reaper inside back row draw, follow the pegs and home for a ticky.
+1 -1

Three horses to go around in the standing start Strathalbyn Cup well known to WA punters.
    Assassinator.
    Skippy Rascal.
    Bettor Party.

The standing start conditions will make for a competitive open race. Often thrills and spills in this event. Assassinator at the big odds might surprise.

The good 'ol standardbred...those three "battlers" to slog it out in the Cup have earnt three quarters of a million dollars between them. Bettor Party 290k and Assassinator and Skippy around 225k each.

JJ will confirm but Im sure Assassinator won an Easter Cup at GP a couple of years back.
Bettor Party and Skippy Rascal were no slouches in WA either.

And when they go to SA can't they win at a price?!
Three runs ago Assassinator won a weak race at Globe Derby and paid $16.20 :-O he defeated Strike On Command and Regal Knight, could beat those two guys home myself.

Callan Suvaljko did very well with Skippy Rascal - recall one night at GP he ran 3rd at 100/1 to Runrunjimmydunn and fourth in the race was Vampiro!
Was a good money earner for him.

The final race of the day..if Rock 'N Roll Baby trots think she wins.
If Ton Tine trots think he wins.
Sunoflindenny did trot - he won.

Ton Tine lost 50 metres entering the back straight and still ran second - he finished full of running.

Rock 'N Roll Baby wins in store - but how can you back her at the short price ?

Lewis got the fave off to a great beginning and outfoxed them to lead and win.

Lewis + standing start = collect. The best driver of the modern era in WA by a cricket pitch!!

Thought Tontine was a good thing based on its recent trial. Vision of trials is a big punting plus ...Luckily was watching cricket and failed  "event closed" to get on ....should have won but didn't  ...trotters ....infesting the place like cockroaches.

Reasonably confident with the ground he made up that Ton Tine would have got Sunoflindenny either via the sprint lane or pulled out around him.
They don't pay on that however and full credit to the winner who made no mistakes and a class front running drive

Some are just "turncoats" (tongue firmly in cheek)....was standing next to delirious connections of Jax Or Better  today at Pinjarra as this quisling ex pacer (who won as a pacer at Busso last season) showed them how it is done in the trot...from a stand mind you...bolted in. Great to see, too much speed for his opposition. Hats off to them  :D
