The Other Belmont Preview for 19/10/19

West Australian Racing
I am still recovering from TVK's defeat last wek (like Jell with Nelson's Flight).
I went in to our local on Wed and for some reason put on some Quaddies. The last leg was the tough oe (the distance races are always a raffle for me). Somehow I remembered Rodent's words from the way past and put in the top one and the bottom one; so a little bit back!

R/1 The WP mount appeale a lot at first.
But over the years I have seen the up and comerarrive from a little unsure olace.
So I am on Boomtastic; his first run was beaten by a hailed new champ.

R/2 I keep coming back to Bedouin Belle; she looks a real strong type to me. And hopefully Father can match son's great run at present.

R/3 Massimo looks too short. So how about LL for a double with Pretty Style; I remember her being v v fast.

R/4 I have gone for 9 and 10 here. Royal Strata is underrated; but first up is a big ask; however cannot leave her out.
Hyperspace should be ready; is young and promising; the stable is......DM.

R/5 Horse 1 and 10 here.
The fave is logical, running up front.
Sliced Bread is v v promising and the distance looks the go for him.

R/6 Spillanova was v painful for me last time.
Hopefully on Sat with JM up and some weight relief?

R/7 Flirtini was stunning in her trial; maybe she has taken the next step up. SM has put her in the big race compared to better performed stablemate in the last.
This is a great race with Stageman back with WP storming home and the grey, who would have to roll in front undisturbed to win.

R/8 Anothe super race with loads of chances here.
TVK is out to 8's! He has to go in.
The fave was stunning last start.
But I will stick to SM with the v underrated Achenar Star.
Oh and don't forget Great Shot.

R/9 Of course it is Dance Music for me. She is all class and should clean this lot up.

All the best; it is a tough but a great day.
And my gut feeling for Randwick is Sunlight.
+1 -1

In the lucky last the top weight, even though a pretty average Hannans Handicap, Little Fish sat three and four wide wide without cover the entire race and fought on well to run fifth, and close up to second.

Stewards Report : Little Fish raced wide throughout.

    Tabtouch Form Guide Comment.
Little Fish - "Enjoyed a cosy run behind the leaders but only held ground for fifth Hannans Handicap" 8-|

No matter how it runs tomorrow, and realising very few even bother with Tabtouch comments, but if you're going to do form guide comments at least have some accuracy.
