Been watching a bit of Qld v Vics

Qld look to have a promising new bowler called Gannon - keen to see how he goes at the WACA - tall and skinny like Bruce Reid

    Hodge made 140 not out and won the game for the Vics - amazing player unlucky not to play more at top level

    and he made 137 not out against WA the previous match :shock:

    Gannon finished with 3 maidens 1/29 off 9 overs - clearly the best bowler and on debut

    this kid is apparently 200cm tall and bowls with great rythym

    Another loss for WA

    atleast we are seeing some younger players coming thro with form

    hopefully WA will crank up for the big bash games - which i will be going to and opefully not pass out this year :P

    ok I have good news

    TIVERS was catching the plane to melb for the Cox Plate and the Warriors were on the same flight

    he has told them all to pull socks up and have a friggin crack at those Vics on Saturday - expect fireworks :D

    I don't.
    He's like Tom Moody and Graeme Hick. A good player against average bowling, or a flat track bully.

    Yeah always rated cowan, just wasn't getting the opportunities when he was at nsw i guess, and remember he shoulda been out in the 70's too so that would've made a difference, birt was just as impressive, think he will become a regular in the aus 20/20 side, yeah lee always goes for runs but bowled 2 beauties to get birt and then lockyear at the death
