I get it. P hall rides the fav, gets beat and Adams other 1 wins, hally back to his old tricks, I'm sure he got some of the 21s...
  • Backed millers horse in the last for a stack and u guessed it knocked off on the post again time for a spell might be back in a few weeks or i may not just did a count back that was my 38th 2nd or 3rd placing in 3 months. The only winner i have had was dead heat go figure think this game is telling me something.

heard of an all up place mailman...
    could be your thing ;)
  • Maybe or maybe its time to give it away and go do other things in life the work u have to put in to keep running 2nd or 3rd is glawing have to take good with bad i guess will see how i feel in few weeks at the moment i feel like i have had enough getting to bitter on it all and dont even get me started on some of the riding at times the enjoyment is starting to leave and i always said if that goes then i will go to maybe that time is getting close.I have had a good run so i cant complain there are worse outcomes in life.

Great card, a few nice types back. Dont think Cavallo Pazzo can make it 3 in a row, cant wait to see Bombora and Kalahaar fight it out in the last. Also like Sax on the Beach in the 7th at good odds...

totally disagree, cant see one that will beat CP surely?!?

and dont discount modella in the last ;-)

Unbelievable... I have shares in Grandstand so went with him instead of Sax on the Beach as I suggested! Thought we were cruising until unfortunatley came down. All reports from the trainer is that horse is ok and Kyra has a sore back and ankle at this stage. The highs and lows of horse racing I suppose. Glad all ok, it did look nasty

Looks like another high grade early star Miss Solis has lost a leg ,same as Rons Call sometimes they just dont come back as good she MS was tappering of on her way to the KK last year she never won a race after her break

She doesn't look to be the same dynamic filly she was last year.

The apprentice race yesterday was an embarrassment to all concerned with the apprentice's in WA (exception of J.Claite as he has only just taken over), but he has some work to do....Hardly any of them know pace, they just think slow is good, apart from a couple, they have no idea where they are going.....glad to hear Kyra is ok, super lucky to escape a fall like that with relatively minor injuries (compared to what could've happened). I'm confident JC will get them going better, but once again the guys/girls really need to improve....

You guys could well be right with regard to MS but i didn't think her run was too bad. She gave Detection 3kg who was 4th run in and is no mug, and gave Secret Scandal 4kg whom i am led to believe the stable rates highly. All in all, 58kg first up 1200 in a campaign where she will be most likely be stretched out to 1600 is a tough ask. Time will tell I guess, but I wouldn't write her or Darlington abbey off just yet.

Clint Harvey's post race interview with Wes Cameron, would have to be one of the most well thought out responses to a question I have heard from a Senior Rider in many months. It was informative, articulated, and devoid of the usual 'no yes, or yes, no' typical response of most of the responses from interviewees. He actually came across as a thinking rider who planned and executed a pre-race stategy to the letter.

Re Miss Solis....I think you are a bit quick to dismiss her.
First up, 58kg, 1200m....I thought she was a risk under those conditions.
Never underestimate Simon Miller however. She is very smart on her day and she was only beaten a length.
