Well back the truck up Slip everyone's has the right to an opinion , I actually liked the fart in church comment more than nocking Hinch himself I read the article and quiet liked it good read from my point of view and as far as the other is concerned I doubt you know him and you definitely don't know me so you can go and do rude things to yourself mate.

Clowns who know nothing about racing but choose to highlight incidents that discredit the whole industry, serve no purpose other than to promote themselves as being above all of racing`s participants.
All 3 codes get a bad rap from various media commentators regarding welfare, when the majority of participants would put their animals welfare ahead of their own.
Cheap sensationalist reporting that serves no worthwhile purpose.

What about when a footballer breaks a leg - not a TV footballer (AFL) but the bloke that has a kick on a Sunday afternoon.
Where's the story about the pain and suffering, the ride to the hospital stretched out on the back seat of a car, the lost income the family endures etc etc :-?

Making a comparison between 1979 and 2005 to support certain people and denigrate others is ordinary at best.
Does reporting it "so blatantly" serve any purpose?
First, channel 7 copped flack for televising a lame horse at Randwick (I think after the Derby this year ?) . How could they, the talk-back peanut-gallery groaned. Yesterday they chose not to focus on a very sad and distressing incident with a massive audience and guess what the same tools groaned. You can't win, dead set. I don't know if it was handled correctly, but this was never going to be handled to satisfy everyone.
Secondly, while I really admire all who valiantly tried to save the life of Mummify, that did not end well either. Did Mummify suffer more than Valera ? Velera was euthanised quickly by vets and connections (who must of agonised over the decision) - I am not judging either, they were both different tragedies. But who the hell is Hinch ? What a nobhead !!
Finally, what happened to the great Dulcify is just awful. But comparing what happened to dead horses in 1979, to what happened in 2005 is just ridiculous in my opinion.
Just another typical 'Know It Alll' Hinch piece of crap. Everything is either black or white to that fool. The reality is somewhere in the middle.
