they won't be able to police it at the gates...at this late stage they should just throw the gates open and be done with it.

theodore has been very quiet, normally he's on these things like a maggot onto a mutton chop.

In reality (this mistake) is not really a big issue.

Fact is that anyone that goes to the trouble of printing out the voucher is most likely to go to the track and have a punt, or a beverage or feed or all three - and therefore as we have discussed here a million times (in regards to getting patrons on course with free entry) - this could be a major windfall for the club, because it may attract an extra 5,000 on course who potentially could spend $50 - $100 or more!

The beer glass really is half full   :!!

No point doing that - whilst this forum might know and some well to do city workers (with photocopiers) might have worked this out - the majority of one day a year punters would have no idea about this and will happily pay the $35!

I have a feeling that you'd have to hand over the printed voucher as well as the card that comes with the carton with the voucher number u need to enter in. I got a heap given to me yesterday and the codes vary from 3 to 4 random digits so unless u have the card to go with it voucher you've printed off, I'm tipping you'll be rejected
  • RIORIO    14,902 posts
there is nothing on the printed ticket telling you that you have to take anything else along..if you have the ticket that is enough..a few years ago i showed them the ticket on my phone and i was allowed in.

reckon if you have that printed ticket that bomber put up your in...

I'd like to see them not let people in who have the voucher but not the card could be mayhem at the gates this morning better get there a bit early to avoid it all

No way, it'd be anarchy - they stuffed up the promotion - not the innocent bloke who bought his carton, entered the digits and printed off the voucher as advised.

If they try and reject them - they only have to reject one legitimate bloke with a receipt - and they'll never hear the end of it!

Best they work with what they've got, if people have the voucher, let them in - and then take as much of their money as they can!
