    Peter Allen -Rio, Good job you keep referring to mrs Rio otherwise I would have assumed something. :)) :)) :))
    Just saw your picture on Facebook with the lovely Mrs Rio. Saw you had a couple of fags(cigarette's) after the race,Mrs Chelsea and I were sitting right next to you.

    Well now you and Mrs Chelsea know what we look like, don't hesitate to come and say hello...An offer extended to anyone who wants to be friendly...the other people, pretend you've never seen our photo please!!!!

    And no need for alcohol, sitting talk for 20 minutes about my horses is so easy I could do it in my sleep, and at that time of the day I nearly was!!!

    I note the pronounciation given is (phonetically) Assezz but my limited French knowledge suggests (phonetically) it should be Essay-Yeah ..yeah as in yes not yay. The horse name very aptly means 'Try It'.

    try the Scottish dictionary Slip........its Scottish clan speak. Martin is a northerner.

    Clan motto but the word originates from France. Maybe there was a tilt in the kilt.

    not being a know-all but slip is right....essayez-vous which means "you try".
    your pronunciation is correct slip...
    "due sasso" is incorrect also....

    With the Scottish lilt and particularly the 'odd' highlanders Rio's is probably right as well from the Scottish perspective.

    So is the trainer Scottish Rio?

    yes, Top class Rio.You can tell you are just a massive horse nut. I bet you can work racehorses into the equation while sitting at a bus stop next to a complete stranger.  just out of interest, where are all new owners located. just in case some of us live next door to each other. Im in Pinjarra.
