ASCOT WEDNESDAY
RACE 3 NO 1 UNIVERSAL MOON
The David Harrison trained mare UNIVERSAL MOON looks terrifically placed in this moderate 1000m sprint. First-up she was able to win in Saturday grade before running credibly in a much stronger event than this. She will burn over from her wide gate, settle over the speed and is the one to run down.
RACE 6 No 6 SECRET MINX
The Adam Durrant trained mare SECRET MINX looks set to post her first win since joining his stables in this midweek midweek fillies and mares handicap. At her most recent start she beat all bar the exciting filly Arcadia Dream. If she gets over from her wide draw she should be too smart.
RACE 8 NO 8 PLANETS ALIGN
Blackfriars four-year-old PLANETS ALIGN was backed as if unbeatable on debut at Northam and he didn’t let his supporters down producing a dominant on speed win. The step up to 1800m should be ideal.
